Receive guidance and momentum to grieve (or not) and reflect on the moments this year has offered. Using what transpires, we will shift to making a wish list, reflecting on our strengths, and building a space for self love - the outcome is directed by you. Our time together we will create a piece which you can come back to when the time is right. We will build community by co-creating a space where we are all accountable. You only need a writing tool of your choice.

About Reenita, Reflective Writing

About Reenita, Reflective Writing

I’m a fiery aries, avid reader, and lover of all things dance related. I take a holistic approach to care for folks in work and life by understanding their physical, mental, spiritual, emotional self to better understand their needs. My educational journeys include completing a Social Service Worker diploma and a Bachelor (Honors) in Sociology. My life adventures have included being a Peer Leader and contributing articles on sexual health, mental health, and lifestyle for a blog focused on bringing community to those of the South Asian diaspora. My current job involves supporting 2SLGBTQ+ Refugee Claimants as they navigate creating a life in Canada as they leave behind their home countries where they face harm and/or prosecution because of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity.

The most important thing one should know about me is that I am and always will be a work in progress. I am continuously growing and learning in all aspects of life thus this bio is always in edit mode.

About Lara (Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra)

About Lara (Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra)

My name is Lara but my friends call me “Farks.”

You might think yoga is intimidating, complicated, or about being extremely athletic or flexible… but I promise you… If you can breathe, you can practice yoga.

My classes aren’t about pretensions, confusing analogies, or “performance yoga.” My classes are about clear directions, being who you really are (on and off the mat), honoring the roots of the yoga practice and having a good time too. If you want to learn about yoga philosophy, the benefits and effects of the postures in your body and have fun at the same time, let's practice together! When I’m not on the mat I’m drinking coffee with my dog and cats, listening to jazz (I have a diploma in Music Composition so… or playing) accumulating an absurd amount of Drag Race (big fan of Trixie Mattel and Shea Coulee) trivia knowledge or being overly competitive at Scrabble.
